The Wedding Guest outfit

We mentioned last month that we had our first wedding invite, and since then everything we've debated buying has been asked "can we wear it to the wedding?". Most of the time, it's a no. Little B has been after a new suit for a while now, and it seemed the perfect time to buy a new one. Of course it's always easier to dream up wishlists where money means nothing. And that's what we did.
Little B chose this pretty snazzy Ted Baker suit in navy and opted for some Aldo shoes (which to be fair, are currently high up on his debating to purchase list). He quite fancied a shiny new watch as we seem to have fallen into the "one for daytime, and one for evening wear" trap, and this one from Francis & Gaye is right up his street.
I can't make up my mind whether I want a playsuit, a dress or some shorts (nothing new there...) but this playsuit from Topshop has been staring at me for some time. If I was a rich girl (thanks Gwen Stefani!) these Charlotte Olympia heels would be mine within minutes. I am in love. And I'm also becoming a real grown up... I have decided that maybe it's time for some real jewelery. This bracelet looks like it could do just the trick for any occasion.
Who knows, Christmas isn't too far away... And neither is this wedding, so we best make a decision fairly soon!

  1. Unfortunately Tom and I haven't had any weddings to attend this year! It's always nice to put together a suitable outfit when you are invited to one though! Gives you an excuse to dress up a bit! - Similar to when we go to the races - its just an excuse to dress fancy!

  2. If Little B has his heart set on a navy suit I know Burton have some nice ones in at the moment! Plus they are doing a free pair of shoes with a suit too! :) hope this makes decisions easier especially with money being needed left, right and centre :) x

  3. I like when you have to dress up a bit for a special occasion, especially the part where you have to brows shops or online websites in search for the perfect piece. Obviously this would be even more fun in a world where I had lots and lots of money eheh :)
I love the Charlotte Olympia's shoes. I would wear those for any occasion. The colour is perfect, and with that splash of bright pink, they can never be boring!
