Snippets of grey

Boohoo dress | New Look jacket and boots | Primark snood.
River Island tee | New Look jeans | Primark boots.

It's no secret that we're big fans of grey in our house and wardrobe (we'll leave the fifty shades book out of that one!) with many different varieties. Today is no exception, and once again we're in our semi matchy-matchy outfits, because we love nothing more than dressing similar unexpectedly.
Little B's tee's are slowly getting lower, although I don't think he'll go any lower than this (those V neck one's terrify the both of us!) but teamed with his grey cardigan, and he's everybodys grey dream! And of course this trusty smock is my go to work dress, because, well, grey is just grey. And easy. And perfect for date night tonight.

I've got my work ball coming up on Friday and in usual girl style, I'm stressing over what to wear. Realistically I should be in my Lashes of London dress with it being perfect for shindig's, but with a three course meal I'd much rather be in this slouchy smock. Either that, or a themed ball, because everybody loves dressing up (no? Just us then!). But alas, it's fancy, my wardrobe is now piled up on the floor and I'm still clueless as to what I'm going to wear. Mama thinks I should go for something fitted (ie wear THAT embellished dress) but too much chocolate has been consumed this week. And on that note, I'm off to Chimichanga's for a cheeky dinner. Bodycon dress who?

  8. Love that smock a lot. I really want a few easy things like this which I can wear around San Francisco in a few weeks (I'm so excited, can you tell?)
Bodycon dresses are perfect for dancing the night away, but a smock sounds a lot more 'forgiving' when there's a lot of food involved ;)

  9. I've been filling my wardrobe with grey clothes for years now, since I found how easy to wear grey is.
I would go for smock. Have fun at that ball!

  12. Wear the pretty dress! It'll be worth it in the end, maybe just wear one of those tummy huggy dresses underneath? Then you'll have nothing to worry about! :) Paris x
