Just when we think that we're adapting to the weather change and actually wrapping up properly for it we do stupid things like forget our socks with cut out boots. Let me rephrase it, I forget my socks. And funnily enough it's kind of a big deal considering that my sparkly socks go everywhere I do. Like seriously. It's even borderline silly with doing the food shopping tonight and upon spotting a midnight pair of sparkly socks on display, I just couldn't resist. You'd never have thought that a year ago, socks were non existent in my drawer.
And with socks for warmth, it's all about chunky knits for us and this Chiara Fashion one doesn't disappoint. It makes for the perfect casual (and pyjama) knit to snuggle in under my not so warm Winter coat. It's incredibly cosy, so cosy, that I'm pretty sure I caught Little B eyeing it up the other evening..
Although these outfits are a far cry from what we've been sporting this weekend - paint covered joggers and slobby tshirts. But I will admit that it's been nice to get back into my heeled boots for work today - some things just never change (well, I had to after realising that it's not that possible to trim a hedge in heeled shoes!).
The past three days have been filled with pots of paint and a lot of Cif after realising that the house we've just bought is a lot dirtier than we remembered, although somewhat a challenge. It's going to take a little bit of work to make it homely, but I'm sure after some rooting around in boxes for the fairy lights will happen fairly swiftly. For now, I won't pack away those slob clothes just yet but you'll have to get me out of this knit first!
