Little House.

Today we decided to open our front door, and share our home with you. You only ever see my favourite room in the house (Little B would probably disagree with this as his favourite one), yet we're ever so fond of where we live. So pop on some slippers, whilst we boil the kettle and have a proper nosey around...

As soon as we pull up into the courtyard, Little R always runs to the window. He loves seeing our faces just as much as we do his. Walking around to our front door, greets us with numerous potted plants from family members. My favourite of course being the teacup pot that Mama Mcfred got us. It makes me smile.

These are our two favourite corners of the kitchen. Being the best corner for tea parties, complete with various flavoured hot chocolate and a stocked biscuit tin. Little B hates this toaster more than anything in life he says. It won me over at polka dots, even if it is maybe only slightly a little bit rubbish..

There are flowers dotted all over the house, whether they're fresh or fake. This is Little R's corner of the kitchen, and majority of the time, the flowers can be found upside down. Or in his mouth! And whilst Little B has his man drawer, I have my bits & bobs bowl. Full of things.

The room with the most character is definitely the living room, with it's wonky walls and stone piece, it's what  made us fall in love with this place. The best thing at night is when all the candles are lit, the fairy lights are switched on and we're all snuggled up under the throw watching a film. Heaven.

Since living here, we've acquired a bit of a fetish for windows. Our windows are always so sweet, with their silly single glazing, but quirky features. And of course, finished with some more fake flowers.

My favourite room of the house! I never need an excuse to turn on the fairy lights, and jump into our incredibly perfect bed with a good book and a bar of chocolate. We're forever changing this room around, and mixing and matching furniture has become our downfall everytime we visit Dunelm..

Although not the biggest wardrobe (this is only half admittedly!) we enjoy having our clothes on show, and it sure makes us keep them tidier! We tend to keep most things hidden away, and only have the basics out. Frankie diaries, and an evening read are among them. And fresh flowers, as usual.
