Let's all just spend a few minutes laughing at my attempt of trying to look cool. Oh and my not so great hairstyle. After deciding that actually, I did like my hair up in this post (yes I did the go back and check every so often thing) I thought I'd brave it again. And again. But now my messy bun, isn't so messy. Just greasy. What a shambles.
Anyway, the reason I am trying to look like I know my stuff, and as though I used to hang at the skate park.. (is that where the cool people hangout?!) is because I was so desperate to wear my Orange Circle tee. I like tee's. But they just don't like me. We don't normally work well. So when it arrived, I did a pretty bad thing, and I cut the sleeves (sorry Orange people, I still love it!) with my mind telling me I'd totally be able to rock this look. It lied. But you know what, I don't care. I have a cat WITH GLASSES on a tee.
And even when I try to get away from the girly kind.. My cat lady nature always manages to catch up with me. Quite literally.

I think you've nailed the 'cool' look - and u think the skate park is the it place. But I think by saying 'it' place I may have rendered myself uncool. Oh well, anyway the cat wearing glasses is awesome, I love how you've paired it with that skirt (suh a beautiful colour!) xo

ReplyDeleteI absolutely love the tee and think it looks great minus the sleeves. Who wouldn't love a cat with glasses whether there were sleeves or not?
The skirt is also very sexual x
ooh lovely skirt, the colour is really nice! i'm excited to dig out all my burgundy clothes for a/w. the tee is so cute, hipster cat! love what you did with the sleeves. man i've tried so many times to look 'cool' with an 'effortless' bun but i end up looking like a school teacher. i will master the topknot one day!

ReplyDeleteOhhh gosh this shirt is adorable! T-shirts really don't work on me either. I think it's a combination of having a large chest and the whole round-neck thing.. I don't know, but I'm trying to convince my mum to knit me a jumper with a cat or a tiger on! haha, love it xx

Totally know what you mean about disagreeing with t-shirts. I'm the same. I tend to cut the neck as well so it's a slash-neck style. I think it's the high neck that I'm not a fan of.
