There's stars in my eyes and there's sun in my hair

Dress: New Look. Belt: Matalan. Wedges: New Look. Bag: Matalan. Sunglasses: Primark.

It's funny when the sun comes out and we have our photo. We all of a sudden look like we're trying to be a celebrity, with our big sunglasses. Now don't get me wrong, I love playing celebrities, who doesn't? But no, I'm not trying to be one today.. I blame the sunglasses for this. Maybe it's time I invest in some a little smaller..?
I wore this to work this week, and the jokes were flying about my hair telling me that I'm in the wrong building, and the school playground is next door. Genius. But funnily enough, it's true. Something about my fringe back makes me look younger than I am. To be honest, even with my fringe I still only look 16.
And all this crap about "Enjoy it while you can".. No thanks, I'm fed up of a 16 year old getting alcohol without ID whilst I have to beg that my ID is me just for a lottery ticket! They won't be laughing when I win the big bucks...
And even though I hate all this, I guess there is one good thing to come out of it.. the fact I'm wearing children's shoes.
I guess I just have to look on the brightside.

    1. New Look definitely are good for basics.. Although I don't normally shop there (she says with her outfit based in NL!) Also, so annoying about ID.. I can imagine it more for you being 27!! I'm 23!

  3. Haha I know what it feels like to look much younger than you actually are.
I'm almost 18 and still look about 12 years old. I've heard so many times "oh you'll be thankful when you're older, you'll be wrinkle free!", but I just dread to think what other people will think if I ever have kids, I'll either just look like an older sister or if I hopefully have aged a few years by then, I would then look like an extremely young teen mother. Meh.
Only positive was that I could get away with children's train tickets up until last year! & The day I turned 17 and could order my provisional just so I could get into 15 rated films was the best day of my life yet.
You do look very much like a celebrity in this post, but you look great.

  10. That dress is FIT, I have banned myself from buying any more black clothes but I waannnntttt it!
Getting ID'd all the time is so annoying. I think I look my age now but when I was 18/19 I looked a lot younger and used to get ID'd for everything. I once got asked for ID when buying a bottle of vinegar?! (I think that was mostly because the lady was a bit crazy though...)

    1. It's ridiculous isn't it? So when I get ID'ed for a lottery ticket, that means they think i'm 15.. So 8 years under my actual age.. A little bit of a joke!x

If it makes you feel any better, not so long ago I got asked by the bus driver if it was a child or adult ticket I wanted :| also something about me wearing my fringe back and not bothering with much make-up seems to get me ID'd! Very weird - also the Boy and I got ID'd for buying matches in Poundland last year! Xx

    1. If I was you on the bus, I'd have totally pretended I was a child!! Ha. But what gets me, is they ask you for ID cause they think you're under 18/16 but what 15year old has ID on them anyway?x
