She said love don't come easy

Dress: H&M. Tights: Charno Simply Bare Moisturising. Boots: Unknown.

Hello there. Did you think I was Gillian Zinser in this dress? Thought not. But however, wearing this ensemble, I like to think I am her... Just without her luscious locks and never ending legs.
I'd been eyeing this dress in the purple for months and would try it on numerous times on my lunch break. But I just never got it, something wasn't right. Then last week I NEEDED something (obviously as you do) for a night out, so went and got it in the white. And added it along with my other 7463 white dresses. Standard.
I'm also wearing tights. True story. Now I've never been one for nude tights, maybe it's because of their sheerness, which results in them laddering as soon as I get them out the pack, or the fact I'd rather just brave the bare leg than look strange pulling up my legs. So when I was sent these Charno ones, I was a little unsure.. Partly down to my butter fingers, but also because I ask myself "WHAT IS THE POINT IN THEM?!" Anyway, today I wore them. And no-one believed I had them on. 
In all fairness, they DID actually moisturise my legs and surprisingly didn't require epic amounts of hoisting up. They didn't itch once throughout the day, which, if you're anything like me and buy cheap tights, then you'll understand me.
Do I think you should go buy them? If it's black tights or no tights, then I doubt you'll be swayed. And if you're a genius who manages to not ladder tights, then I think these might just be worthwhile for you.
Tights aside. I'm off to cry that my laptop charger blew me up last night. Well nearly. Now I need a hobby for the week...

  3. i have this dress and i love it! although i dont know if you find that its very sheer? especially if you wear black tights you can see right through ha. i still like it though :)

  5. I've got You Can't Hurry Love in my head now. That is never a bad thing.
    I personally am a lover of skin coloured tights. I've been wearing them religiously since I was about 16. I don't really like my legs so much and I'm pretty pale, so if you've ever seen the appearance of bare legs on my blog, about 99% of the time, they're skin coloured tights. I buy them from Pirmark for £2.50 for a pack of 5. However, lately I've been buying the size 12-14 for some reason and they tend to wrinkle like elephant skin as they're about 3 sizes too big.
    Anyway, I'm a fan, and moisturizing tights sound awesome. With me, sometimes I don't feel confident enough to bare my legs of it's too cold. Hello tights.
    Anyway, this dress is awesome.As are you.

  9. alright gorgeous muffin.
    I hate tights, they either go wrinkly if they are too big, or the stay put at the waist but the crotch slowly slips down towards my knees rendering walking difficult. probably because I wear cheap tights.

    i am not a fan of skin coloured tights, i never feel like they have much of a point and they don't match the rest of my body so i feel like i've partaken in a dip-dye body session. black tights 4eva, yo.

  18. Personally I think you're much hotter than the Zinser! Especially in that dress! Baring my legs petrifies me so I always opt for nude tights if black tights don't work, but like you I find myself hoisting them up all day - ATTRACTIVE! You should get your legs out more often though - you have pins to be proud of! xx

  44. Looking absolutely gorgeous as per! Can see why you have 7463 white dresses as it's such a lovely colour on you and love the lace with those boots. I never wear nude tights really (although I am in my latest post!) as I feel a bit self conscious when it looks like I'm not wearing tights but sometimes black tights just doesn't look right with some skirts/dresses...xxx

  48. ahhhhh Gillian Zinser!!!! haha it is very her!!! looking stunning at always and I never would of thought you had tights onnn!! I am awful I HATE wearing nothing on my legs might have to invest in a pair but I ladder everything sooooooo hate to spend over a pound on tights haaa xxx
