And I built a home, for you, for me.

Dress: Primark. Leather Jacket: New Look. Boots: Primark.

Today we found out we have to leave our apartment by April. It came as such a shock. So shocking that I burst into tears and cried to my parents (seriously, how old am I?!) So now the hunt is on, to find another place that ticks all our boxes, which is going to be such a struggle, considering littlebum and I normally work opposite hours. I guess we should see this in a great light, a new place to make home, and get a kitty. Although I'll be ever so sad to say goodbye to what we've made our home these last 7 months.
So with all the crap we've accumulated, and my 6754938 clothes, I guess I should start packing.. Urm now?
At least I have an excuse for another house warming party!

  14. I know. Moving house is DEFINTELY a mission! Doesn't help we were in furnished, now we have to buy all that too! BUT getting a kitty is top priority, unless we have a poopy landlord!x

  15. That is true Terri! And once we have a kitty, we'll be glad we moved!x

  21. It is mental Laura. Literally, as soon as you see something you basically have to be like 'we'll take it' because they fly off the market super quick! The worst part is packing.. i hate it!!
I shall tweet you tomorrow if you don't get your ass in gear and tweet me! HA xx

  26. Oh, that's so sad. I'm sorry. But, on the bright side, you might find a really great new place to live. And you get to decorate it which is always a fun process.

Love your blog, btw. You've got great style.

  29. I am so sorry to hear about your apartment. I do believe that these things have a way of working themselves out and that further down the line you'll look back and realise that it was turned out to be a good thing at the time but I know it must not feel like that after only being there 7 months and having to start packing your life up. Why don't you come and live by the sea near me instead yeah? And we can start spreading the word of the cinema blanket and have kigu parties (I must get one!) I don't think you should worry about getting upset and phoning your parents when you get bad news, I still do that too and have a feeling I'll be doing that for many years yet! Lots of loves and hope you get it all worked out.

  37. Oh man, that sucks big time. It's natural for you to feel that way though, but I believe everything happens for a reason. Being pushed into a situation like this only makes you braver and stronger in the end. Cherish the time you have at the place you are now, and during that time it'll be good to sort things out and mentalling prepare for the move. Best of luck finding a new place though, I'm sure you'll find that special place and fall in love. I would have cried to my parents too as I don't feel grown up at all even though I'm 20, but like I said these situations make you grow up and if anything like this happens again you're able to cope and deal with it a lot better. Experience is always a great tool!

You look fantastic by the way too :) That is one stunning dress and fits you perfectly. And see, the house warming party is a posistive! Just think of it like that, even do a pro's and con's list as I'm a serious worrier and find they help a big deal. x

  42. I never moved before but it sounds like a terrible thing! You have to leave a house in which you memories sank, plus the whole packing thing sounds awful if you have a huge closet (like I do)! ^^
Anyway cute outfit, I love the dress and looks awesome with those boots and that jacket.
